Chester FC and Chester FC Community Trust are looking for a very important volunteer to take on the role of our club mascot – Lupus!
Having been enjoying a well-earned rest for the past couple of seasons, Lupus is now refreshed and ready to resume his work at the Deva Stadium, however his previous ‘handler’ has now retired.
As a community club, Lupus has a big part to play on matchdays and his handler will need plenty of energy and enthusiasm to bring him to life.
The purpose of the role is to engage and entertain young supporters at Chester FC home matches, interact with fans, pose for photographs and take part in pre-match activities, as well as attending occasional community events.
No previous experience is required but you will need a positive attitude and good sense of humour. The role involves working from 2pm to 3pm for every home match and at half-time.
This is a voluntary position for people aged 16 or over and as the role involves working with children, applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check.
To be considered for the role or for further details, email:
The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 30th October 2021.
