Dr Oliver Wright, a local GP at Boughton Health Centre, is looking to promote physical activity in the local community and said:
“Often in medicine we are treating health conditions that are a result of years of sedentary activity and poor lifestyle. If we can reach out to the local community to promote physical activity and improve their lifestyle, this will help prevent major health conditions such as diabetes and stroke. As a group of GP practices in Chester we hope to see as many people down for the ParkRun on the 14th September 2024!
