The Chester City Passion was due to take place on the 10th April 2020, but given the growing concerns around COVID-19 they’ve made the difficult decision to cancel it.
The team have been busy monitoring the updates to COVID-19 and now feel that it is no longer viable to deliver an event of this scale at this time.
This was an extremely tough decision for the team to make as we recognise the Chester City Passion is an important event for the City of Chester – but we need to prioritise the health, safety and well-being of our cast, crew and public who make this event possible.
We understand and share your disappointment but trust you understand and appreciate our decision.
We remain committed to delivering this event in the City of Chester and will keep you informed on social media and in the local press of our hope to perform the Chester City Passion on Good Friday 2nd April, 2021
Should you have any questions, please contact Rev Andy Glover, the chair of the Steering Group for the Chester City Passion, at office@linkup.uk.net
