I would like to thank our hosts at The Market as well as my helpers Debbie and Karen. Thanks too for all the very generous raffle prizes that were donated by local businesses and individuals. I am really grateful for the support received, with this being the 4th quiz I have hosted. I look forward to the next event in early 2026, details of which will be announced soon."
A spokesperson from The Countess Charity said:
"We at The Countess Charity would like to say a huge thank you to Richard Trotter and everyone at Chester Market for hosting the Chester Market Charity Quiz in support of our Extra Mile Appeal. It was a fantastic evening full of fun and laughter, bringing teams together for a great cause. The funds raised will go towards purchasing a urinalysis machine for the Acute Medical Assessment Unit, helping all patients treated on the ward. This vital equipment, provided above core NHS provision, will benefit patients and our dedicated staff, helping us continue to improve care and go the extra mile for those who need it most."
