A popular Chester blogger is set to stage his 4th charity quiz, which this time will raise much-needed funds for a Countess of Chester Hospital charity appeal.
In conjunction with Chester Market, Richard Trotter, founder of The Chester Blog and well-known Twitter/X account Sh*tChester will once again play host and quizmaster for the quiz on Sunday 28th September from 5pm (quiz starts at 6.30pm).
The fundraiser follows on from a highly successful quiz staged in June this year. which raised £800 for local charity Platform For Life.
Entry for the quiz is £2.50 per person (Cash only) on the night with all proceeds going to the Countess Charity's Extra Mile Appeal.
In addition to the quiz, the evening will include entertainment from "Elishama singer" who will being performing a mix of of Motown, Soul and Disco hits, a performance from Boughton based Poise Dance Studio and Artist Tim Foxon, famous for his little red bike, who will be drawing "no look" portraits in return for a donation. There will also be a raffle with numerous prize already having been donated by local businesses including Picturehouse, Storyhouse, Chester Boat, The Scented Garden, Bookingham Palace, Euphoric Arts, The Pottery Rooms, Dandys, Cavani Menswear, The Brow Job, The Hole in Wand, Rainbow Tea rooms, Curtain Up PR, Funky Cow and many others.
Speaking about the special fundraiser, Richard, who also builds and curates the popular "Chester in Lego" in Chester Market said:
"I am looking forward to beating the total raised last time and have been blown away by the donations from the local business community as well as the performers giving their time for free."

The Chester Market Quiz in aid of The Countess Charity's Extra Mile Appeal takes place on Sunday 28th September from 5.30pm.
