Local singer/songwriter Danny Keatman’s debut single ‘Tomorrow’ is now out on all streaming platforms.
Danny studied music at Chester University and has made the city his home.
With its soaring, anthemic pop chorus, “Why wait till tomorrow when you have today? We can take on the world!” Danny is taking his own advice and setting his sights high, celebrating life to the full with his colour-infused brand of heartfelt songwriting and hoping to reach listeners in every corner of the globe.
Speaking about the release Danny said:
“I don’t think I could ever have imagined or dreamed that I would ever release a single. Sharing your emotions with the world is exciting and scary. It’s a positive song, but it’s inspired by real heartache, so it’s a strange mix. Putting out your deepest feelings for everyone to hear. To me that’s an amazing thing.”
Celebrating with a launch party at St Mary’s Creative Space, Danny said:
“What a beautiful setting to thank friends, family and fans. I hope the song inspires people and I want people everywhere to hear it, ideally someone in every single country of the world. It’s a song of hope for everyone, everywhere, and we’re all connected somehow, so why not!”
In getting his song out to the world, Danny was inspired by the idea of 6 degrees of separation, the concept that any two people on Earth are connected through a chain of acquaintances, each link being a "friend of a friend", and that the chain typically consists of six or fewer steps.
Danny added:
“Sounds like a great concept and well worth putting to the test. Who knows, maybe even someone on the space station will hear it!”
‘Tomorrow’ is available now on all streaming platforms.
