Danny Keatman recently graduated in Music Performance from Chester University, fell in love with the city and decided to make it his own, releasing his debut single on Friday.
Danny Keatman is an independent artist, with eclectic influences from Bob Dylan to Imagine Dragons and Daft Punk to Avicci and Queen. Danny breathes fresh life into the time-honoured tradition of solo singer-songwriter, with soulful elements of Indie and Funk.
With its soaring, anthemic pop chorus, “Why wait till tomorrow when you have today? We can take on the world!” Danny is taking his own advice, refusing to be held back and celebrating life to the full with his colour-infused brand of heartfelt songwriting and upbeat, feelgood music.
Alongside tight musicianship, rousing upbeat choruses and catchy hooks, the vulnerability in Danny’s vocal blends powerful emotion with lyrical depth, exploring his unique perspective on the highly relatable themes of loss and love.
Speaking about his inspiration, Danny said:
“Tomorrow was written at the lowest point in my life after the breakup of a toxic relationship. So I imagined how things could be, rather than how they actually were. Why wait till tomorrow when you have today? Don’t let anything get in your way!”
‘Tomorrow’ was recorded at Tony “Doggen” Foster’s Nottingham Mouse House studio, with “Doggen” on guitars, Troy Foster on bass and drums and Ellie Mcnamara on backing vocals.
Danny added:
“Tony is the guitarist from the band Spiritualised. His spacey, soul-infused guitar style really suits my songs and it was a pleasure and honour to work with him.”
Danny has built a reputation for energetic and emotive live performances, securing a headline spot at the Rock Against Racism anniversary gig and an acoustic set at the iconic Godiva Festival.
A limited number of tickets are available for the debut single Launch Party, at St Mary’s Creative Space, on Saturday 27th September at 6.30pm.

‘Tomorrow’ will be available digitally, at midday on Friday 26th September 2025, on all streaming platforms.
