Hosted at Alexanders Live in Chester, the event offered lots of great rounds of questions with an amazing array of raffle prizes donated by local businesses and it raised an incredible £1,105.32 for the charity. Adoption Matters, whose head office is on Liverpool Road in Chester, is a children’s charity and voluntary adoption agency whose aim is to provide safe, nurturing and loving homes through adoption to children who, for many reasons are unable to remain with their birth families. The children's charity offers their families and children ongoing support and training for as long as they need it. Adoption Matters Chief Executive Susy White commented: ““We are so grateful to Mark, Rebekah, Jessica and the whole team at Manleys for choosing to support our charity at their annual quiz and to everyone who attended the event. These vital funds enables our charity to continue to offer added support to adopted children and their families through our Centre for Adoption Support which is vital to them now and as they grow until adults, as we are here for them for as long as they need it”. Adoption Matters had their very own team at the event (pictured) the ‘AM Aces’ were delighted to come joint third, and were humbled when the winning team donated their £100 cash prize back to the charity raffle.
