Friday 12/09/25:
CWFL Olympic Trophies Championship action saw FC Farndon race into a commanding 3-0 lead inside half an hour through strikes from Lee Parry, Andy Walker and Adam Morris. However, Clarence FC staged a remarkable turnaround after the break, firing in seven unanswered goals. Ben Morris led the charge with a clinical hat-trick, Ben Ryan added a brace, while Reno Robinson and Jack Nelson also found the net in a stunning comeback performance.
Higher Bebington Kelma Reserves maintained top spot with a ruthless 6-0 away win over Frodsham Park JFC. Tyler Abram was the standout performer, netting four times, with Ethan Tellet also on the scoresheet and a Frodsham own goal adding to their woes.
Saturday 13/09/25:
Tom Boulton grabbed the headlines for Great Sutton Reserves with a well-taken hat-trick in their 5-1 win over Poulton Victoria FC. Joe Tittle and Bard Thomson also contributed to the scoreline, while Nick Marron scored the solitary reply for Vics.
Sutton Rangers Reserves also enjoyed a strong outing, easing past Elton JFC 5-1. Danny Lewis struck four times in a dazzling display, with Callum Lang adding another. Callum Widowson scored Elton’s only goal.
In the Queensferry Sport Premier Division only two fixtures took place, but they produced plenty of action, with 14 goals shared. Table-toppers Newton Athletic edged a seven-goal thriller 4-3 against Cestrian Alex. Adam Pownall netted twice, supported by Rob Austin and Harvey Andrew. Cestrian were competitive throughout but fell just short.
Whitegate FC kept pace with the leaders after dispatching Hoole Rovers 7-0. Three own goals from Hoole compounded their difficulties, while Kyle Maddocks (2), Mathew Cann, and Oakley Maddocks wrapped up the scoring.
Blacon Youth Club Vets sit top of CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division Two following a 2-0 victory over Tarvin Athletic Vets. James Henry and Kev Garland scored the decisive goals.
Vineyard Vets remain level on points with Blacon but trail on goal difference after a 4-1 win over AFC Waverton Vets. Goals came from Dave Favager, Jay Thompson, James McClennan and Tony Langrell, while Paul Caputo netted for Waverton.
Frodsham Park Vets were in fine form as they put seven past Parkfield Vets. Rob Davies led the charge with a hat-trick, Paul Travis bagged a brace, with Chris Carey and Mark Earlam also on target.
In CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division Four, Crossway Vets and Davenham Vets played out an entertaining 3-3 draw. Josh Jones, Justin Osuji and Drew Thomas struck for Crossway, while Davenham matched them with three of their own to share the spoils.
West Kirby Vets recorded a solid 5-2 win over Hoole Rangers Vets. Tom Raven scored twice, with Jon Oliver, David Cowie and Nick Pickering also chipping in. Hoole replied through Adam Roper and Greg Hutchinson.
Wirral Masters Vets also claimed a 5-2 victory, this time over Nags Head Bunbury Vets. Luke Brennan netted a brace, supported by goals from Danny Payne, Harry Munt and Aiden Ryan.
In CWFL Tarvin Precision Vets Division Five, goalmouth action was in abundance with 31 goals across four matches. Cheshire Vikings Vets contributed 10 of those in a dominant 10-3 display against Saughall Vets. Stuart Hardman, Jon Pomphrett and Lee Dermondy each grabbed doubles, with Jack Towers, Michael Shaw, Alex Tarpey and Andrew Watterson all adding to the total. Saughall replied through Dave Roberts (2) and Sam Marshall (1).
despite a brace from Nathan Barry Frodsham Park Reserves Vets came unstuck against St Annes Vets who ran out 4-2 winners. Mark Roberts netted twice with Alan Craze and Dan Fortune also getting on the scoresheet.
Hoole Wanderers Vets made a positive start to their season with a 4-2 victory over Tarporley Vets. Andy Evans, Stephen Priestley, Nodz Noden and Will Campbell struck for Hoole, while Dan Richards and Simon Hall found the net for Tarporley.
FC Vaults Vets and Port Sunlight Vets shared the points in a thrilling 3-3 draw. Will Dixon netted a hat-trick for Vaults, but his efforts were matched by Port Sunlight’s Jon Roberts (2) and Andy Crilly.
