CWFL Queensferry Sports Premier Division
Friday 16th August:
On Friday night Moreton FC smashed in eight goals and made it two wins from two as they eclipsed Cestrian Alex. Billy New and Ryan Slater both bagged doubles whilst Danny Keogh, Emmanuel Olaitan, and the ever-Green Steve Abbot all grabbed singles to go along with an own goal. Moreton have now hit thirteen goals in two games whilst also keeping two clean sheets as they top the table with an impressive start to the season, WRITES BERNIE HOLMES.
Saturday 17th August:
Hoole Rangers FC and Kelsall FC have also made impressive starts to the season with both teams also winning two from two. On Saturday at the Garrison ground, Chester Nomads 3rd and Kelsall went into the last 15 minutes with the game level at 0-0 with nothing to separate the teams, but Kelsall stepped up a level to score four times and secure the points. Adam Pickering notched twice whilst Dom Coates and Ben Vimalachandran both netted.
Hoole Rangers (pictured) had Victor Arogundade and Godwin Nweze on target in a narrow 2-1 win against Upton JFC Reserves whose consolation goal came from Jow Williams.

Friday 16th August:
On Friday night Horse & Jockey got their season off to a flyer by beating FC Farndon 7-1. Thomas Evans bagged a fine hat-trick whilst Jamie Maddocks netted a brace to go along with singles for Macauley Watson and Reece Jones. Farndon had Will Yardley on the scoresheet in reply.
Saturday 17th August:
Game of the day on Saturday was at Cairns Crescent the new ground of last season champions Waggon & Horses Reserves, Championship newcomers Lache FC made the short journey and left with the three points. Jack Radford was the hero as he netted twice to go along with a Keiye Williams effort as Lache won by the odd goal in five. Jord O’Brien netted twice for Waggon.
Upton JFC 3rds demolished Chester Nomads 4th 7-0. Cam Fleet and Joe Walsh both bagged doubles whilst Aris Manolopolis, Ryan Broomfield and Harry Mitchell also got in on the act with singles to see Upton take top spot after two league games.
Whitegate FC had Tom Carney and Daz Fox to thanks as they both netted to secure a 2-0 win against Cheshire Vikings.
