Students across our borough are celebrating a range of A-level and other exam success today, Thursday 15th August 2024.
We would like to congratulate all the students who have received their results today. It has been very positive to hear about all their achievements. These outcomes have been secured as a result of a great deal of hard work and dedication to their studies. We hope the results allow students to progress to the next stage in their education, employment or training.
We would like to thank all the schools and colleges for the commitment that has been provided to securing the best possible outcomes for their students throughout the courses and during the exam season and to acknowledge the continuing important, supportive role of parents and carers. We know they will all be equally as proud and will celebrate the achievements we have seen today.
We do recognise, however, that this may not be a time of celebration for everyone. Schools and colleges are there to offer support and guidance for those students whose results may not be all they had hoped for.
Councillor Adam Langan, Cabinet Member for Children and Families, said:
“I am always delighted to hear of the great successes achieved by students across Cheshire West and Chester on results day. I wish them continued success as they look to achieve their aspirations and goals for their future whatever their chosen career path.”
