Chester FC's Women's Team made it eight straight league victories with a convincing win over Mossley Hill, as the two sides met for the second time this month.
Mossley Hill started the brighter of the two teams on Merseyside, and their early pressure was rewarded with the opener on 28 minutes.
Nevertheless, the Blues hit back to climb back to third in the table.
Molly Wood notched her 27th of the season just prior to the interval, rounding the ‘keeper before slotting home, before Charlotte Locke hit the woodwork with an effort from distance just before the break.
However, the Seals did take the lead just eight minutes after half time as Wood was at it again – firing in to the roof of the net from Jenni Riley’s through ball.
Locke wasn’t to be denied her goal and wrapped up the three points on 75 minutes, smashing in a fantastic effort from distance via the post.
There was still time for Wood to complete her sixth hat trick of the campaign late on, slotting into the bottom corner from Charlotte Dowell’s cutback.
The Blues now have back-to-back home games to look forward to, facing bottom side Northwich Vixens this Sunday at the Leap76 Stadium – before hosting Preston North End in the cup on 11th February.
Chester: Foster, Sands, Riley (Gill 78), Randles, Adderley, Dowell, Locke, Wood, Morris (Halliwell 67), Redman, Bradley (Jones 77).
Scorers: Wood 37, 53, 85, Locke 75.
