The much-loved Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Festival is back for its 25th anniversary, bringing together over 150 exhibitors showcasing a spectacular array of food and drink from local and international producers.
Set to take place over Easter weekend, this family-friendly event promises unforgettable experiences for foodies of all ages—and even their four-legged friends (yes, dogs are welcome!).
This year’s lineup is as star-studded as ever, with Celebrity Chefs Phil Vickery and Nisha Katona set to demonstrate their culinary prowess on stage. They'll be joined by local stars including Eliott Hill of The Chester Grosvenor and Felix Shore from Farndon’s newly opened 209 Restaurant. Adding to the excitement are live cocktail demonstrations from Bar Lounge and the brand-new Roof Top Social Club, bringing a vibrant twist to the festival atmosphere.
For meat lovers, Sunday’s Sausage Competition is not to be missed, while Big 5 Catering’s BBQ demos will fire up the grills and showcase their smoky magic throughout the event. Kids and adults alike can roll up their sleeves in interactive cooking classes, adding a hands-on element to this delicious weekend.
The 2025 event is generously supported by STYLE JOINERY, known for creating stunning kitchens that are perfect for showcasing your newly honed culinary skills. STYLE JOINERY (based in Saltney) will have a presence at the festival and are offering an incredible competition prize—make sure to visit their stand and discover how they can transform your cooking space.
Festival-goers will also enjoy a unique highlight featuring students from Cheshire College – South & West, supported by acclaimed Chef Brian Mellor. Watch these talented young chefs demonstrate their skills in both cooking and service, as they share their passion for the craft and give a glimpse into the future of Cheshire’s culinary scene.
Tori Hayes, Festival Organiser, shared her enthusiasm for this special milestone:
"We are extraordinarily proud of this being the 25th year of the Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Festival. This event has become part of the fabric of Chester, and we love how it brings the community together every year. Personally, this year I'm really looking forward to a very special demo from Cheshire College – South & West students supported by Chef Brian Mellor and demonstrating their learning in not just cooking but serving as well. I love that the Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Festival supports the future of local chefs and inspires the next generation."
