Detectives investigating a serious assault in Neston have released a CCTV image of a man they are looking to speak to.
At around 1am on Saturday 12 April, police were called to reports of an altercation on Neston High Street, near to Over Draught.
Officers attended and on arrival officers found that a 21-year-old local man has been assaulted and knocked unconscious.
The man was taken Arrow Park Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
A 20-year-old man from Neston has already been arrested in relation to the incident and as part of ongoing enquiries officers have released a CCTV images of a man they are looking to speak to.
Detective Sergeant Adam Spencer, of Ellesmere Port AIT, said:
“We’ve already spoken to a number of witnesses as part of our investigation, and I would like to thank the local community for the support provided.
“As part of our ongoing investigation, we are keen to speak to the man in the CCTV images as we believe he may hold important information.

“I would also like to appeal directly to the man in the CCTV images to get in touch.”
