Detectives investigating a burglary in Chester have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.
At around 11.55pm on Saturday 24 June, police received reports of a burglary at a residential address on Victoria Road.
The incident is believed to have occurred between 6pm and 9.15pm that evening and a mobile phone and bank card were stolen.
The bank card was confirmed to have been used at a nearby store in Mill Lane a short time later.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing and officers are continuing to appeal for information.
As part of their enquiries, they have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.
It is believed he may have travelled to the Birkenhead area.
Detective Constable Richard Connelly said:
“As part of our investigation, we are keen to hear from anyone with information about the identity of the man pictured or who witnessed anything suspicious around the time of the incident.
“We would also like to appeal directly to the man himself to get in touch with us.”
