Officers investigating a theft of tools in Chester have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.
At around 2pm on Tuesday 28th November police were called to reports of a theft in Chester.
The caller reported that a man dressed as a Royal Mail employee had stolen tools from the driveway of a residential property on Roman Crescent, Chester.
The Royal Mail clothing used by the offender has since been reported stolen in a separate incident prior to this offence.
Officers launched an investigation and as part of this, they have now released a CCTV image of a man believed to hold vital information.
Initial enquiries suggest the man left the area in a Silver Peugeot Panel Van and could also have links to north Wales.
PC James Wright of Chester Proactive Team said:
“As part of our ongoing investigation, we would urge anyone who recognises the man pictured to get in touch with us.
“We are also appealing directly to the man himself to make contact."
