Funding has been secured for carriageway resurfacing at a number of sites across Flintshire during half-term week.
Six schemes are scheduled to take place starting from Saturday, 25 October. To facilitate the works, road closures together with signed diversion routes, will be in place to ensure the safety of the workforce engaged in this operation and highway users.
Bistre Avenue and Tabernacle Street, Buckley
Works start on Saturday 25 October for one week. Road closure will be in place between 08:00 and 17:00 hrs.
B5127 Mold Road, Ewloe, Green
Works start on Monday 27 October for one week. Road closure will be in place between 09:00 and 16:30 hrs.
Alexandra Road, Mold
Works start on Monday 27 October for two days.
Road closure will be in place between 09:00 and 17:00 hrs and the one way system at Victoria Road will be suspended during working hours allowing two way traffic under the control of traffic officers on site. Access to properties, Ysgol Bryn Coch and the cemetery will be via Victoria Road during working hours only.
St David’s Lane, Mold
Works start on Tuesday 28 October for three days. Road Closure will be in place between 09:00 and 16:00 hrs.
A550 Hawarden Road, Hope (From Sarn Lane to Ysgol Estyn)
Works start on Tuesday 28 October for five days. Road Closure will be in place between 09:00 and 16:30 hrs.
A5026 Top of Boot Hill, Holywell
Works start on Friday 31 October for one week. Road closure will be in place between 09:00 and 16:00 hrs.
The contractor will make every effort to keep to the days and times given, but it may be necessary to vary these in the event of poor weather or other adverse circumstances. Access to individual properties and businesses will be maintained, although short delays may be encountered.
Flintshire County Council apologises for any delay or disruption that may be caused as a consequence of this essential maintenance work.
