Following advice from the British Horseracing Authority, fixtures due to take place at Chester in July and August have now been cancelled.
The BHA have replaced pre-existing fixtures for the same time period with a contingency list of racing fixtures behind closed doors.
To this end, the following fixtures at Chester have now been cancelled:
Together Ladies and Gents Evening – Friday 10 July
City Plate Day – Saturday 11 July
Budweiser Brewing Group Midsummer Meeting – Saturday 25 July
Family Funday – Sunday 2 August
Clogau Ladies Day – Saturday 22 August
All customers who have pre-purchased tickets and hospitality to one of the aforementioned dates will be contacted directly in the coming days and in due course issued a full refund, in accordance with the company's ticket terms and conditions.
Public health and safety is of the utmost importance and we will continue to act upon the advice from both Government and the BHA.
Customers will be refunded the cost of their ticket(s), booking fee and any associated postage fees if applicable*.
We kindly ask that our customers refrain from contacting Chester Racecourse directly, but if do you have a query relating to your ticket purchase, please complete the contact form on the Chester Racecourse website here and quote your customer number if known.
The refund process will be operated chronologically, beginning with soonest cancelled fixture first. We would like to thank our customers in advance for their patience under the circumstances.
*Please note that for customers who have purchased tickets to multiple fixtures (including fixtures in September), the cost of postage and booking fee will be retained.
