Citizens Advice Flintshire is currently recruiting Volunteer Assessors and we’re hoping to hear from local people interested in helping Flintshire residents deal with a range of issues.
The problems we help with are mainly debt, benefits, energy, employment, discrimination etc.
We welcome inquiries from anyone who feels they have transferable skills, life experience and time they could offer to help support and advise local people towards finding solutions to a wide range of problems.
Volunteers play an extremely valuable role in the free and confidential service we provide to our clients; in recognition, we will offer full training and do our utmost to provide a friendly and supportive environment in return.
Additional to Volunteer Assessor, we are looking for a Volunteer Database Administrator, where accuracy is key.
Initially, we’re looking for people to work out of our Deeside office and anyone interested in finding out more about the opportunities for volunteering should email:

Vision – twin aims
Flintshire Citizens Advice service provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. It values diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination.
Our service aims:
- To provide the advice people need for the problems they face
- To improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives
The service is instrumental in supporting people through debt and money advice issues and Citizens Advice Flintshire (CAF) believes that individuals should not be disadvantaged through a lack of knowledge of their rights.
