Cheshire West and Chester Council is launching a Business Recovery Support Programme to support businesses to develop and grow during these challenging times.
The Council has joined forces with West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce, Blue Orchid management consultants and TMC marketing to provide new and existing businesses, from across all sectors, with a comprehensive package of measures that includes:
- a dedicated advice service for businesses seeking funding opportunities including loans equity and venture capital funds
- a monthly business start-up club for businesses less than two years old
- a series of export/import webinars and one to one support to help business to prepare for Brexit
- marketing support through growing an online presence via social media platforms
Councillor Richard Beacham Cabinet Member for Housing, Regeneration and Growth said: “We are all in the midst of unprecedented economic times and the Council has been proactive in its approach to supporting businesses. The next phase of this important work involves the launch of a series of programmes to build resilience and support businesses to develop new ideas and opportunities. A calendar of online events is being finalised with the first event focusing on ‘maximising your LinkedIn profile’ taking place on June 25 between 12.30 and 1.30 pm
