At a time when many grassroots sports clubs are struggling, Bunbury Cricket Club is bucking the trend—thriving, expanding and investing in its future.
With a booming junior section, a growing men’s squad, and now an exciting new women’s team launching soon, this village club is proving that community sport is alive and well in Cheshire.
The club’s continued success is thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers, players, and supporters who work tirelessly to ensure cricket in Bunbury remains inclusive, competitive, and welcoming to all.
Exciting Developments for 2025 and Beyond
The past year has been a huge success, and investment is at an all-time high.
Funds raised from the Bunbury Cricket Summer Ball 2024 have allowed the club to make much-needed improvements and secure its future growth, including:
🏏 Major investment in our thriving junior section – Ensuring the next generation has the best facilities and coaching to develop their skills.
🏏 Upgraded training facilities – We’re relaying the surfaces of the nets, giving players of all ages and abilities top-class practice conditions.
🏏 A brand-new women’s cricket team – A hugely exciting step for the club, welcoming even more players into our cricket family.
🏏 A new away team changing room – we turned a challenge into a positive when Storm Darragh blew the roof off - thankfully we were insured so we’re improving facilities.
A Club at the Heart of the Community – And a Fantastic Sponsorship Opportunity
Bunbury Cricket Club isn’t just about cricket—it’s a community hub. With family-friendly events, social gatherings, and a commitment to growing the game for everyone, the club has become a shining example of what grassroots sport can achieve.
As the club expands, so do the opportunities for local businesses to get involved, support the community, and gain valuable exposure. We are actively seeking sponsors to help fund our continued growth, and this is the perfect opportunity for businesses to:
✅ Support local sport and give back to the community
✅ Gain fantastic brand exposure through events, team sponsorships, and club promotions
✅ Fulfill corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitments by investing in grassroots sport
✅ Be part of an ambitious, growing club that’s making a real difference
Whether you’re a local business looking for exposure or a company passionate about supporting community initiatives, partnering with Bunbury Cricket Club is a win-win.
