Chances from Murray and P. Jones came and went before Dylan Mottley-Henry lit the tie alight with a close-range finish.
Iwan Murray cut the ball across the box and Mottley-Henry slotted home from close-range, a fully deserved lead for the Seals.
The came an unbelievable moment, as the ball fell to Jack Bainbridge outside the box who caused absolute pandemonium inside the Deva.
The midfielder smashed an outrageous effort into the top corner from 25 yards out to seal the result in style.
A trip to EFL League Two outfit Cambridge United awaits the Blues in the First Round Proper on the weekend surrounding the 1st November.
