Chester FC's final game before Christmas sees the Blues head to the North East again to take on Blyth Spartans.
Back at the Leap76 Stadium this month after a long stretch on the road, Calum McIntyre’s side picked up seven points from nine games to assert themselves in the play-off positions.
One big injury boost last weekend was the return of Kole Hall, who made his first appearance for the club after his meniscus injury which had kept him out since the start of September.
The Blues could be as high as third on Christmas Day with a victory at Croft Park and if other results go their way.
THE OPPOSITION:
Blyth made a strong start to the season, winning six of their opening twelve league games.
However, Graham Fenton’s side have won one of their last ten in the National League North and sit in 19th place, four points clear of the drop zone.
Chester won the reverse fixture back at the start of September, as an Elliott Whitehouse penalty in the final minute of the 90 secured a 2-1 victory.
