Two boys, one aged 14 from Ellesmere Port and one aged 15 from Northwich have been arrested as part of enquiries into the incidents.
They have both been released on conditional bail.
Original appeal:
Police in Ellesmere Port are appealing for witnesses after a number of vehicles were graffitied overnight.
Between 11.30pm on 8 June and 1am on 9 June three suspects sprayed paint on cars and properties in Kendal Drive, Shepton Road, Baker Drive and Sutton Way.
The suspects, believed to be teenagers, are described as male and wearing black clothing and face coverings.
PC Jake Marsh said: “I’m keen to hear from anyone who has seen the suspects or knows who they may be - the same goes for anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage capturing anything of note that may help with our investigation.
“The damage caused has cost a number of people a lot of money to repair their vehicles, causing even more expense when times are challenging enough for everyone. That’s why I’d also urge anyone who may know who did this to think hard about the impact this has had on these residents and do the right thing by coming forward with information.”
