Police have released a CCTV image of two men they are looking to speak to following an incident on a bus in Cheshire.
At around 5pm on Monday 28 February, a 17-year-old girl was travelling on the number 2 bus, from Chester to Runcorn, when two unknown men inappropriately touched her.
The incident is believed to be isolated and enquiries to trace the people responsible are ongoing.
As part of their investigation officers have now released a CCTV image of two men they are looking to identify.
Police Constable Emily Pimlott, of Runcorn Local Policing Unit, said: “I would like to reassure residents that this is believed to an isolated incident and we are doing all we can to trace the people responsible.
“As part of our investigation I am keen to speak to the two men in the CCTV image who may have vital information that could assist us with our enquiries.
“I would ask anyone who may know the identity of the men, or have any further information that could help with the investigation, to please get in touch.
“I would also encourage the men in the image to call us directly.”
