Police are appealing for information from the public to help find a missing pensioner from Tarvin.
Jennifer Vernon was last seen on Broomheath Lane at around 3.45am today, Saturday 1 July.
The 79-year-old is hard of hearing and also has Alzheimer's, meaning that she can often become confused.
She is white, has short grey hair and was last seen wearing green floral pyjama trousers and a long sleeved long brown top.
Officers are urging anyone who sees Jennifer or has any information regarding her whereabouts to get in touch.
Inspector Marc Dolbear said:
“We have a number of officers currently out searching for Jennifer and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.
"I urge anyone in or around the Tarvin area who thinks that they may have seen her since she went missing to get in touch with us.
“I would also ask residents living in the area also urged to check any sheds or outbuildings in case Jennifer has taken shelter.”
Anyone with information or footage that may help officers find Jennifer is asked to call Cheshire Constabulary immediately on 101, quoting IML 1586042 or report it via:
