Officers investigating a robbery in Ellesmere Port are appealing for witnesses and anyone with footage to come forward.
On Thursday 10th July, police received reports of a robbery in which an e-bike was stolen from a man in Whitby Park, Ellesmere Port, which is believed to have taken place at some time between 3pm and 3.20pm.
The two suspects believed to be involved in the incident are described to be approximately 18 years old, wearing black clothing and face coverings. They were riding a black e-bike with a red battery.
As part of enquiries into what happened, officers are now appealing for anyone with any information to get in touch with them.
Detective Constable Sarah Lister said:
“We understand the concern incidents of this nature will cause to the local community and we are conducting enquiries to establish exactly what took place and trace anyone responsible.
“I’d urge anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us.
“The same goes for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage that may have picked up the incident.”
