Detectives investigating a burglary in Chester are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
On Wednesday 23 August, police received reports of a burglary at an address on Moor Lane, Rowton.
The incident is believed to have occurred at some time between 5.20pm and 6.50pm.
The residents had returned to the address and found a quantity of jewellery had been stolen, along with two vehicles from the driveway.
One of the vehicles was recovered parked in Tattenhall. The second vehicle, a red Vauxhall Adam, is still outstanding. Residents are asked to keep an eye out for the Vauxhall Adam which could be left parked up in the area.
As part of enquiries, officers are now appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
Police Constable James Wright, of the Chester Proactive Team, said:
“Our investigation is currently ongoing, and we would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious around the time of the incident to contact us.
“The same goes for anyone who may have CCTV, Ring doorbell, or dashcam footage which could aid our enquiries.
“We understand nearby residents are likely to be concerned but please be assured we are doing all we can to find those responsible. To help deter offenders, residents should follow the crime prevention advice which is available on our website. This may including ensuring CCTV is fitted where appropriate, and keeping alarms and security measures in full working order."
