Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Ellesmere Port.
On Thursday 7 November, police received reports of an assault. At around 7pm, the victim, a 23-year-old man, was pursued by two men from Pooltown Road, towards the junction with Princes Road.
The two men were armed with a knife. The victim was assaulted during the incident and suffered minor injuries.
The suspects were witnessed riding an e-bike and were described as wearing balaclavas.
Detective Constable Willding-Jones said:
“Firstly, we would like to reassure the local community that we are doing all we can to trace those responsible and as part of our ongoing enquiries we would now like to appeal for any witnesses to come forward.
“The same goes for anyone with any information in relation to the incident or anyone who may have relevant CCTV, video doorbell, or dashcam footage."
