The first incident at around 12.30pm on Saturday 11 December when a 77-year-old woman had her handbag snatched by a unknown man as she was walking back to her car on Heathfield Road.
After stealing the bag the offender ran off down an alleyway onto Oldfield Road.
The second incident occurred at around 7.45pm on Sunday 12 December on the footpath between Wellesley Avenue and Arthur Avenue.
