Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage after two men made off following a pursuit in Elton.
At around 2pm on Monday 24 November, officers attempted to stop a blue Vauxhall Corsa on the A5117 Hapsford.
The vehicle made off and travelled into Elton, where the two occupants abandoned the car on Marsh Lane and made off on foot.
The two men, one in all dark clothing, the other in a dark jacket and light grey trousers, are believed to run down Pogo’s Wood, and onto Holm Drive.
Enquires to identify the two men are ongoing and as part of the investigation officers are urging residents in the Elton area to check their CCTV and doorbell cameras between 2.10pm and 2.20pm on Monday 24 November, to see if they have any footage which may aid the investigation.
Anyone with any footage, or anyone with who witnessed the incident, is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, or visit:
