Detectives are appealing for information following the theft of horse riding accessories at Bolesworth Castle.
At sometime between 10.30pm on Saturday 2 July to 5.30am on Sunday 3 July unknown offenders forced entry to lockers at the Bolesworth Hill Road site and a quantity of horse saddlery was taken.
An investigation is currently underway, and officers are now appealing for anyone who may have information to come forward.
Detective Constable Paul Boneham said: “These thefts occurred during a busy event with lots of people in and around the area.
“We have a number of enquiries underway and I would like to reassure the public that we are doing all we can to trace those responsible.
“As part of our enquiries, I would urge anyone in the area who may have seen something that didn’t look quite right, to come forward.
“The same goes to anyone who was driving in the area during the night and may have dashcam footage to please come forward.
“If anyone is offered any horse tack items, please be wary and if you have any suspicions, contact us and we will do the rest.”
