Officers from Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a serious collision in Christleton.
At 11.43am on Tuesday 3 September police were called to reports of a collision on Pepper Street.
Officers attended the scene and found there had been a collision between a blue Volkswagen Transporter panel van and two pedestrians.
The pedestrians, two teenage boys aged 13 and 15, were both treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
One of the boys had since been discharged, while the second remains in Aintree Hospital at this time. His injuries are described as serious.
The driver of the van, a 59-year-old man, was uninjured.
Enquiries in relation to the collision are ongoing.
Inspector Anton Sullivan, of the Roads and Crime Unit at Cheshire Police, said:
“This was a serious collision which has left a teenage boy with possibly life changing injuries, and we are committed to doing all we can to establish what took place.
“As part of our enquiries we’re keen to hear from anyone who was in area and witnessed the collision taking place.
“The same goes for anyone with any dashcam or CCTV footage which may aid the investigation.
“I’d urge anyone with any information to call us on 101 or visit:
