Detectives are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a fatal collision in Chester.
Shortly after 1.40am on Sunday 20th July, Emergency Services were called to reports of a collision involving a black Vauxhall Astra colliding with a wall, on Hill Road, Eccleston, Chester.
Police and ambulance attended the scene, but despite the best efforts of all those involved, the driver, a 25-year-old man from Smallwood, died at the scene.
A passenger in the vehicle, a 47-year-old man from Rossett, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. Sadly, he has since sadly passed away as a result of his injuries.
Their next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by specialist officers.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and anyone with any information is urged to get in touch.
