Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following a fail to stop collision in Ellesmere Port.
Shortly before 4.30pm on Thursday 27 June a four-year-old was hit by a black car on Rochester Drive, near to Durham Court.
The child was treated at the scene by paramedics begore being taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
Thankfully, they sustained only minor injuries and have since been discharged.
The driver of the car failed to stop and made off towards Thornton Road.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and as part of the investigation officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision.
They would also like to hear from anyone with any dashcam footage or CCTV footage which may aid the investigation.
