Police officers are appealing to the public for information and video footage following a burglary in Little Sutton.
At around 12.30am today, Wednesday 19 April, officers received reports of an incident at an address on Millner Street
Officers attended the scene and found that an unknown number of individuals had forced entry into the address.
Having accessed the address, the suspects searched the property and stole the occupants’ car keys before proceeding to steal the vehicle – a grey Ford S-MAX Zetec.
Enquiries into the incident currently remain ongoing and, as part of the investigation, officers are appealing to members of the public for any information, CCTV or dashcam footage which may be useful to get in touch.
Detective Constable Stuart Wood of Ellesmere Port CID, said:
“The occupants of this address have been left extremely shaken by the ordeal and we are doing all we can to locate those responsible.
“We’re currently following a number of lines of enquiry and as part of our investigation we’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and witnessed anything suspicious.
“The same goes for anyone with any CCTV, ring doorbell or dash cam footage.”
