Detectives investigating the theft of two large portable cabins and their contents in Ellesmere Port are appealing for information and footage from members of the public.
The white cabins and a large blue electrical generator were stolen from a secure building site on North Road between 9am and 9.40am on Friday 24 April.
The portable cabins were loaded onto two separate trailers and then driven away by two large tractors.
One of the trailers had a JCB on it.
Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and detectives are urging anyone with information or CCTV or dashcam footage that may help their investigation to get in touch.
Detective Constable Phill Hunt, of Ellesmere Port Local Policing Unit, said: “We are determined to establish the identities of the several offenders who carried out the theft and bring them to justice.
“We are also committed to finding the stolen portable cabins and electrical generator and having them returned to their rightful owner.
“Enquiries are ongoing and as part of our investigation we are appealing for anyone with information or footage regarding the offenders or the large items that were stolen to come forward.
“Perhaps you were outside for one of the reasons that we are able to go out during the coronavirus pandemic and saw, or have dashcam footage of, the two large tractors fleeing the scene with the stolen items and a JCD on their trailers. This would have been a distinctive sight.
“Or maybe you think you know the identities of the offenders or the whereabouts of the stolen portable cabins and electrical generator.”
Anyone with information or footage that may aid the investigation should call Cheshire Constabulary on 101, quoting IML 692801, or give the details via https://www.cheshire.police.uk/ro/report.
Alternatively, information can be reported to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via https://crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information/forms/give-information-anonymously.
