Police officers seized a further off-road bike on Bagillt High Street yesterday afternoon.
Despite warnings from officers across social media and Community Alert platforms, individuals are still putting themselves and other road users at risk by driving these on Roads, without insurance and some also without Driving Licences.
Across Flintshire North #OpTenacity has seized 20+ bikes being used illegally on our roads, thanks to the hard work of our officers, acting on information provided by you, the public. Bikes that are seized under S165 of the Road Traffic act for No Insurance get collected and promptly destroyed. This is as off road bikes cannot be insured for use on a road and therefore, once seized, you cannot get the bike back.
