Chester Racecourse and MBNA Community Investment Programme provided Adoption Matters and Foster Care Matters families with a joyful day out at the Chester Races Family Fun Day on Sunday.
A selection of tickets were kindly donated to the charity which enabled the winning families access to the exclusive charity area, together with a complimentary packed lunch.
Families of all ages were able to enjoy a range of activities, from a Taylor Swift tribute act to pop-up play villages and a meet and greet with Paddington Bear.
Sharlene, an Adoption Matters adopter who attended the event, commented:
“Thank you for our tickets for the Chester Races Family Fun Day – my daughter and I had a great time and made some amazing memories.
"It was a really lovely day with great hospitality – we saw loads of the horses and loved all of the activities.”
Annie O’Neill, Adoption Matters Fundraising and Relationship Manager, says:
“A big thank you goes to Chester Racecourse and the MBNA Community Investment Programme for providing us with the opportunity to give some of our families this wonderful day out – we are so grateful.
“We are sure that they all had the most brilliant time making cherished memories with their children and we would love to collaborate more in the future.”
