An Accession Service and the Eucharist of Accession takes place at St John the Baptist Church, in Vicars Lane Chester, on Sunday 6th February at 10.00 am.
Accession Day marks the anniversary of the reigning Sovereign taking the throne, which in the case of Her Majesty the Queen is 6th February 1952.
It is particularly fitting to celebrate this anniversary in 2022, as it marks the beginning of The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The service will be held In the presence of the Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire.
