Brio has unveiled a fresh new look for the first time since May 2011, featuring a redesigned logo and a brand-new website that marks the start of an exciting new chapter for the organisation.
Brio, a leisure and wellbeing company, operate sites across Cheshire West and Chester, offering fantastic sports, fitness, and entertainment facilities. With over 20,000 members and over 2 million visits annually, the transformation is driven by a deep commitment to evolving alongside the needs and expectations of the community it serves.
Brio’s brand evolution has been guided by the voices of its customers, staff, and the wider community. Through extensive engagement, including consultations, feedback forums, and the ‘Your Voice, Your Impact’ survey—which received nearly 900 responses—valuable insights were gathered to ensure the transformation and new website truly reflect the needs and aspirations of its customers.
Managing Director Matt Parker states:
“This marks a significant step forward in our digital transformation, ensuring we continue to evolve and meet the needs of our customers. By enhancing our online services and modernising our brand, we are aligning with our long-term business goals—making health, wellbeing and staying active more accessible for everyone. We are incredibly grateful to Cheshire West and Chester Council for their ongoing support.”
Launched on March 13th, the brand refresh introduces a clean and contemporary logo, a bold use of colours, and dynamic brand patterns and shapes – crafted to be versatile for use across all digital platforms and Brio centres. (see images).
As a part of their visual glow-up, Brio also received support from Cheshire West and Chester Council to develop and launch a brand-new website designed to offer a seamless and accessible user experience. Marketing and Communications Manager Charlie Bull states, “Our new website has made it easier than ever for our customers, partners and stakeholders to access information and take the action they need. With improved functionality, faster navigation and refreshed content, it provides an intuitive and engaging way to interact with Brio online. This brand refresh reinforces our commitment to innovation, growth, and strengthening community connections”
While Brio have undergone this transformation, they emphasise that the health and wellbeing of the community will continue to remain at the forefront of the brand. The new look and feel have not only been shaped by customer insights, but also valuable partnerships with local businesses like Stride, Canteen Create and Anvil, and additionally CAB, who played a key role in shaping the future look and feel of the brand in-centre and online.
