Severn Trent is inviting residents and businesses to events to learn more about its £3million water pipe replacement work across the Chester area.
The water company is replacing approximately 41km of water pipe across Great Barrow, Mickle Trafford, Aldford, Saighton, Eccleston and Pulford beginning on Monday, February 2nd and is expected to be completed by April 2027.
Drop-in events designed to help residents stay informed, understand traffic management plans, and receive support ahead of the upcoming work are set to go ahead later in the month.
Two community drop-in session will take place with the first at Aldford Village Hall on Wednesday, January 21st between 2.30pm and 6.30pm, and the second at Eccleston Village Hall on Thursday, January 22nd from 4pm to 7pm.
It will be an opportunity for everyone to speak directly with the project team, ask questions, and share any thoughts.

“Everyone is encouraged to come along to the events and tell us about anything they might need while the work is under way.
“We’ll do everything we can to minimise disruption while delivering long term improvements for residents and businesses.”
Severn Trent is continuing its major upgrade of water pipes around Aldford, Saighton, Eccleston and Pulford, Chester to help ensure a reliable, high quality water supply for years to come.
Customers are advised that access to all businesses will remain open throughout the duration of the works. Access for residents will be maintained wherever possible. There may be short periods when vehicle access is restricted while works take place directly outside properties; residents will be notified in advance.
