Coleg Cambria’s Bersham Road site in Wrexham is to welcome representatives from some of the region’s top car, scooter, and motorcycle organisations for a charity event.
Bersham Wheels takes place on Saturday July 17 from 10am to 4.30pm and looks set to be a feast of fuel-injected fun for people of all ages.
Among those taking part and bringing vehicles with them on the day are Holywell-based Mavericks Wales, Lindop Toyota, Oswestry Classic Car Club and former British Drift Champion, Ollie Evans.
Private owners are also displaying their classic automobiles, including a yellow Mustang, and there will be hybrid cars, HGV tractors, TVRs, a Maserati, a Reliant Robin, e-bikes and more.
Karl Jackson, Assistant Principal for the Institute of Technology at Bersham Road, said motoring enthusiasts will love the line-up.
“We are still confirming some guests but there is already so much on offer, especially for fans of cars, bikes and engines!” said Karl.
“We also have lots of activities for children and food and drink is available throughout, so we are really looking forward to welcoming visitors on-site.
“All money raised will be going to charity, so we hope to see plenty of people there on the day.”
He added: “We have made this event Covid safe by bringing all of our exciting activities outside and will be limiting the number of people allowed indoors to view facilities at any one time.
“And don’t worry about the weather, we have lots of marquees to keep you dry if it does rain.”
Attendees can also enjoy a hog roast, refreshments, vehicle caricature and animation, cheese and cake stalls, a tombola and raffle, games and live music from Reel 2 Reel and Luke Gallagher, among others.
Admission is free and all money raised on the day will go to Stepping Stones North Wales, supporting victims of abuse.
Covid-19 health and safety measures will be in place, including social distancing and wearing of face coverings (unless exempt).
