Joan Jett is known for her trailblazing as the founder of the first all girl rock and roll band, the Runaways.

She was the founder of the first successful woman-artist owned record label, Blackheart Records, and then, for her breakout of punk cult status with her mega-hit 'I Love Rock n Roll' (as a member of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts).
She has enjoyed a long and illustrious career.
Her catchy riffs and stunning vocals have given her 11 groundbreaking Top 40 USA singles and 8 gold/platinum albums.
