April 1940. The Battle of Britain is about to erupt, and arrogant RAF pilot Jack Absolute is grounded - literally - after crashing one too many planes. Reassigned to a sleepy airbase on the Lincolnshire coast, Jack finds himself surrounded by eccentric officers, rival pilots, and a formidable new commanding officer who may be more than a professional obstacle.
