A HEALTH & WELLBEING CONVERSATION LIKE NO OTHER FROM SURVIVING ILLNESS TO CREATING WELLNESS… WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF THE LIVED EXPERIENCE supported by science.
This two and a half hour presentation is being staged by local Charity Woodwork to Wellness. The charity recieves referrals from a number of both medical and none medical sites in CHESTER and the local areas. These include very healthy and skilled members to an almost complete opposite. In a good way :-) The two MEN and their stories involve Mr Chris - Longterm sufferer with secondary progressive MS who has managed to go from wheelchair to walking and Founder of the local charity Woodwork to Wellness Graham Stephens whos "Lived Experience" has been a fairly substantial recovery from a brain injury, despite the odds being against that. Finally the neuroscientist Neil Bindemann PhD who found himself with a brain tumour the size of a golf ball. Unfortunately this was sitting on his Pineal Gland.
There we have it... but three stories and not just two.
