Upton Fest will makes Chester Rock again

This year’s Upton Fest is even bigger and better. It’s now over 2 days - Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May 2019 at Cheshire County Sports Club. Last year saw people getting into the Festival spirit dancing in the rain as thunder & lightning hit the event. Pete Valentine as George Michael got the crowd kicking up a storm. The pictures of revellers dancing in the rain is iconic Festival stuff….

Headlining this year will be JK as Robbie Williams and Flash as Queen tribute band. Many other fantastic bands will be playing throughout the event including last years favourites Break the Record. We have invested a lot more money this year into an even bigger and better purpose built Festival stage and more prominent music acts. We are hoping to build year on year to make the event a ‘must attend’ in Chester’s social calendar.

Why not get in the festival spirt by going to The Enchanted glitter garden and spread your self in stardust, or have your hair braided. There will even be a barber on site to keep all the beards trimmed. Since 2019 is the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock we’re really embracing the Summer of Love theme with flower crowns, Henna tattoos and Festival hats and clothes.

Fun fair, inflatables, segways, total wipeout, mini golf, assault course, and lots for all ages. A helicopter and racing car will also be on display,

Bring your purse as there will be food, art and craft stalls, but credit cards will be accepted on many of the bars and stalls..

Street food and local independent bars will keep the attendees refreshed.

Supporting many local charities including, The Countess Charity (Memory Ward project), Hospice of Good Shepherd, Barnados, The Upton Poppy Appeal and the Wirral Animal Sanctuary.

People certainly talking about it for weeks if not months afterwards and are looking forward to bringing Chester’s largest music festival back to the City again in May.
