Chesters Dee 106.3 broadcasts local national and world news during bulletins between 0700 and 1800 weekdays. On both Saturday and Sundays we run local, national and international news between 0800 and 1400. News and sport headlines are available every half hour during breakfast and afternoon drive programming 0630, 0730, 0830, 1630, 1730 weekdays and at 0830 on weekends.
In addition to these bulletins Chesters Dee 106.3 is committed to local news and on a daily basis provide 2 extended bulletins with an average length of 5 minutes at 1200 and 1800.
Overnight national news bulletins are available on the hour running from 1900 to 0500 inclusive from Independent Radio News.

Chesters Dee 106.3 programmes are locally produced and presented 24 hours a day from our Chester studios, based just off Sealand Road at 2 Chantry Court, Chester, CH1 4QN.
During weekday daytime Monday to Friday, 1 hour of programming is an automated feature. During the weekend daytime period, all programming is live from our Chester studios.

Events/charities support or coverage
Chesters Dee 106.3 supports various charities within the area, including Hospice of the Good Shepherd, Miles of Smiles Childrens Charity, Claire House Hospice, Chester Zoo and Countess of Chester Cancer Charity. Last year Chesters Dee 106.3 hosted the bring a pound to work day. In aid of McMillan Cancer Relief.
We have also been a major supporter of the awareness campaign for the Prostrate Cancer Support Group in Chester.

Recent Highlights
Chesters Dee 106.3 received special recognition at the 2006 Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards in the Station of the Year category, with former programme manager Phil Rodgers nominated for UK Commercial Radio Programmer of the Year.
The station hosted a brand new event at Chester Racecourse in Summer 2006, Chester Live 2 huge outdoor concerts featuring Westlife and Van Morrison. Over 10,000 people attended the event across the weekend.
Miles of Smiles childrens charity held their annual trip to Disneyland Paris, sending over 40 Chester youngsters to the resort in conjunction with the station for the weekend.
This season a brand new deal was signed with Chester City FC and UK Sameday, further strengthening the relationship between both parties. Chesters Dee 106.3 provide full 90 minute commentary online at the football clubs website.
Sport Cheshire held their annual county games championship and selected Chesters Dee 106.3 as their media sponsor. Following the event in June, Sports Cheshire have invited the station back in October for their annual awards evening to be hosted by Gavin and Irene.
