Ex-Cheshire Jets Star Dies in Shooting

A former Cheshire Jets player has died in the United States.

Shuan Stegall was shot while trying to break up an argument. He later died from his wounds at a hospital in DeKalb County, Georgia.

Police have been unable to find his killers.

The 25-year-old American played for the Jets for a number of seasons before leaving the Chester side in 2008.

Regeneration for Ellesmere Port Shopping Centre

Work is about to start on the revamp of a shopping centre in Ellesmere Port.

The Council’s hoping it’ll help boost the local economy; create jobs and attract more business investment.

The Port Arcades Shopping Centre is to expand with up to four new units.

The expansion will take over two years to complete, with work due to start on 6th September.
