Born in Blacon, Simon went to St David’s in Saltney and ‘put it about a bit’ on the radio in Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester, on the tv for Central, Border and UK Gold and as a ‘tonsil for hire’ as a jobbing voice over before arriving at Dee.
Away from Dee, Simon runs a busy business that looks after the marketing for lots of Chester businesses.
Simon’s Sunday show points a finger at anyone or anything that stands out and is worth talking about. He also sneaks Earth Wind and Fire, Chic and any Nile Rodgers influenced track into any gaps that open up.
His favourite parts of Chester include the walls, the bike ride along the canal, the Bear and Billet and the Custom House.
